આ ગીત ને બચપણ થી સાંભળ્યું છે...આજે પુજ્ય બાપુ ની જન્મ જયંતિ એ આ ગીત ખુબ જ યાદ આવે છે..એમણે આપણાં દેશ માટે જે બલિદાન આપ્યું છે એ અવિસ્મરણીય છે..પણ એમની તપસ્યા થી, એમનાં સ્વપનો થી વિપરીત પરિસ્થિતી નો તાદ્ર્શ ચિતાર આ ગીત નાં શબ્દો માં વર્ણવ્યો છે..!..1969માં બનેલી ફિલ્મ 'બાલક'ના આ ગીત ને સુંદર સ્વર મળ્યો છે સુમનકલ્યાણપૂર નો અને સંગીત આપ્યું છે શ્રી દત્તારામે..

Bankim Chandra Chatterjee

(1838 - 1894)


wrote the lyrics of Vande Mataram, or at least the first two stanzas of the song, much before he penned Anandamath, his novel celebrating the sanyasi uprising against the tyrannical rule of Bengal's Muslim subedars. The original version was written sometime in the early 1870s - probably 1875 - and was later expanded into its full version and incorporated in Anandamath in 1881. Much later, when Vande Mataram became the rallying cry of India's freedom movement, after it was set to music by Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore and adopted as the National Song at the Varanasi session of the Congress on September 7, 1905 (it was accorded this status, bringing it at par with the National Anthem, officially by the Constituent Assembly on January 24, 1950)

આજ ના પ્રજાસત્તાક દિને દરેક હિંદુસ્તાની ને જયહિંદ.!.આપણાં મા થી એવી કઇ વ્યક્તિ હશે જેણે આજે આપણાં દેશ ની રક્ષા કાજે શહિદી સ્વીકારનાર એ દરેક સૈનિકો ને યાદ કરી ને એમને અશ્રુ ભરેલી પલ્કો થી શ્રદ્ધાંજલી અર્પણ ના કરી હોય? આવો, આજે આપણે સહુ સાથે મળી ને આપણાં એ વીર જવાનો ને શ્રદ્ધાંજલી અર્પિત કરી ને સલામ ભરીએ..!.....આ શ્રદ્ધાંજલી માં, લતાજી નાં દર્દભર્યા કંઠ ની સાથે આપણે પણ સૂર પુરાવીએ..!
